Honomu Goat Dairy Along Akaka Falls road, you will find this cute little goat dairy farm. The friendly owners will great you with a smile and some amazing samples. Turn inland (mauka) between mile markers 14 and 13 onto Honomu Road. Bear right at the top of the hill onto the main street of Honomu town. Here you will find a delightful selection of art galleries and gift stores as well as several cafes. Take your first right onto Akaka Falls Road and continue for 3.75 miles until you reach the parking lot.

The town of Honomu is located along the east side of Hawaii's Big Island, about 13 miles north of Hilo. It's sandwiched between Pepeekeo to the south and Hakalau to the north. Getting here is easy as the main coastal road on this side of the island, the Mamalahoa Highway, passes right through the town.
